While there are a vast number of topics to choose from in terms of aspects that correlate to World War II, I found a session of discussion done a few weeks ago in class regarding propaganda to be intriguing to me. I was interested in the levels of propaganda that existed through creation and distribution at the time, which fueled war views, actions, spirits, fears, prejudices, etc., of the public. I also wanted to further explore the various areas that this propaganda reached. Therefore, through continued research and deciding, I plan to choose a narrower and more specific topic that falls under the umbrella of the subject of propaganda use during World War II. The power that these aspects hold over public interest and the public good, in general, played a major role in the war efforts involved outside of the front lines and executive positions.
